Summer Matching Game
Jul 20th, 2009 by MPC Press
Here is a matching game to download and print out. Click on the hyperlink to get the pdf download.
You will need scissors and tape. If your printer can take thicker paper or card stock use it for more durability.
To Make the Cards:
1. Print out two sheets of the cards.
2. Cut along the solid lines separate all the cards.
3. Fold along the dotted lines to create the front and back of the card.
4. Make a ring with the tape and place the tape on the empty side of the paper. Fold the card so Rhyme is on one side and the object is on the other. Do this to each card. You should have two of every object.
To Play the Game:
1. Spread out all the cards with the Rhyme side facing up.
2. Player 1 flips one card over, then a second card over. If they match Player 1 keeps those cards. If they do not match Player 1 turns the cards back over.
3. Player 2 goes and repeats play in the same manner.
4. Play continues this way until all matches are made.
5. The player with the most matches wins the game.

I have not seen Rhyme in awhile … love the matching game! Very fun!!
