Beginning of a Blog

Self promotion is awkward but I’ll give it a go. And if any format is appropriate for this, it seems to be a blog. I am simply trying to sell a book(s). Yes, I enjoy writing, in fact my “real job” is in security analysis, meaning I research public companies and write about them. As with this real job, my blog, at least for now, deals with writing about something that I am trying to sell—stocks and books. In this case, it just seems strange to tell people to go buy my book…which happens to be titled Rhyme and you can click here to order. For those still reading, Rhyme is a children’s picture book about a pig in politics, who only speaks in rhyme—thus, his parents offered the name. He lives by the theme, “Dirt Doesn’t Hurt”, perhaps a metaphor for the lifestyle he espouses…work hard, have fun, and don’t worry about the mud on your pants. A lesson for us all? Is cleanliness just a state of mind?
